Two men, who had been accused of illegally removing deadly asbestos from a Medway residence, were indicted the day before yesterday at the superior Court of Norfolk.
58-year-old David Einis and 41-year-old Nicholas Pasquantonio are the two men indicted for asbestos violations. Einis, a Weston contractor who owns the ‘Medway rental property’ and Pasquantonio, a heating contractor from Plainville, pleaded not guilty to every charge against them, according to the AG’s office.
Einis and Pasquantonio were charged with 2 counts each of breaching the federal Clean Air Act for failing to inform the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and failing to prevent asbestos fibers to be released into the air.
A pre-trail hearing has been scheduled for May 1.
