Charleston – A woman claims 24 corporations are liable for her husband’s death after developing malignant mesothelioma.
Sharon Hudson has filed a suit against the companies on 10th April in Kanawha Circuit Court. She says Theodore Ray Hudson, her husband, was diagnosed with the disease in 2008 August and died from it on 14th June 2010.
According to Sharon Hudson, the defendants exposed Mr. Hudson to asbestos during his employment with Cyclops Industries as a Sight Glass Technician from 1972 to 2009. The suit says the defendant companies failed to warn Theodore Hudson of the hazards of asbestos exposure.
The complaint also states that the companies didn’t provide Theodore Hudson with enough safety equipment while handling asbestos.
A visiting judge will oversee the case.
